MermaidTrumpetFavorites

Trumpet and Mermaid wedding gowns are in high demand for modern brides. Brides who want to show off their curves should definitely consider one of these styles to walk down the aisle in.

What’s the difference? Although Trumpet and Mermaid gowns are very similar, there is a difference between the two styles. Mermaid gowns are defined by a slim, tapered, curve-hugging skirt that follows the line of the hips and thighs and flares out below the knee, creating a mermaid silhouette. Trumpet gowns fit closely to the body until mid-hip, then widens gradually to the hem, resembling the mouth of a trumpet.

In a nutshell: Mermaids flare at or below the knee, and trumpet flare at about mid-hip.

BUT WHICH ONE SHOULD I GET?

These gowns look best on hourglass figures, tall and thin brides, and petite brides. However, we have seen all kinds of brides rock this sexy silhouette!
